After experiencing difficulties with obtaining approvals, Innerchi Studios was approached to develop a design for a BCA Compliant home using re-purposed containers. Working with the owner, a design was co-created that suited the owner’s permaculture lifestyle and incorporated the containers already on site.
Innerchi Studios had to coordinate, negotiate and cooperate with Bellingen Shire Council to obtain the required approvals. The approvals also included a permaculture waste managment system including a very affordable, modified wheely bin composting toilet and ‘ibc’ container grey water system.
